This little piece looks like baroque music at first sight, but the sound of the music is obviously not old music at all. And the combination of piano and viola also suggests modern music. The piece is an attempt to write chamber music, that is also suitable to be performed in churches. This has been the goal of the greatest part of my chamber music. Ivan Hoiberg
