Composed in 1948. First published by Muzgiz in 1951.In memory of the Azerbaijani composer Asaf Zeynally. Slow movement, sorrowful, neo-Romantic, tonal, with apparent folk elements. Some recordings of cello/violin versions (made by the composer) are available on YouTube. Duration: 3 minutes.

Traditional structure, tonal with advanced chromaticism, Neo- Classical and oriental elements, celebratory, virtuosic (impressive) but playable. I -Allegro, II - Andante sostenuto, III - Allegretto
